Shore excursion. Port of Carthagene.

If you make a stopover at the port of Cartagena, we offer you various excursions specially planned for the guests of cruises.

CARTAGENA

One of the oldest cities of Spain. Historic city full of vestiges of different cultures.
After a city tour, we visit the old town. Depending on the available time, we can visit 
- the Museum of the Punic Wall, (Paying)
- the Arqua National Museum of maritime archaeology ,  (Paying)
- the Naval Museum with Isaac Peral's military submarine (1888)
- Roman Theater,  (Paying)
- Castillo La Concepcion (Paying)…


 
CARTAGENA and MANGA DEL MAR MENOR

Departure from the port of Cartagena.
Panoramic tour to the Manga and El Mar Menor, the main tourist area of the region. Stop at Palos, a small fishing village.
Continue to the Manga where we make another stop. Free time for visiting the beaches or go for a walk. 
Back to Cartagena, panoramic and walk in the old town where we have the opportunity to visit among others:

The Roman Theater and its museum (Paying),
the Castillo de la Concepcion (Paying),
the Naval Museum with Isaac Peral's military submarine (1888). Free entrance



 
MURCIA

City of Arab origin located in one of the most fertile regions of Spain.

Departure from the Port of Cartagena to the interior of the region.
Panoramic view of Campo de Cartagena and the famous Murcian huerta. Visit of the Sanctuary of XVI century of the Virgin of Fuensanta, Patron Saint of the region. Panoramic tour of the city and stop near the segura river, the Town Hall, Episcopal Palace and the Cathedral.
After visiting the Cathedral, free time in the old town.
Return to Cartagena.

The excursion can be completed by visiting the Casino (which has to be paid apart) and the Museum of the famous sculptor Francisco Salzillo (Paying).
