The municipality of Novelda is famous for the stone and marble industry, the spice factories and table grapes.

On this excursion we will get to know the Vinalopo region. The landscape that we contemplate is characterized by its aridity. However, the different towns in the area have in common the production of grapes and therefore the production of wines.

We visit the Sanctuary of the Magdalena located on the outskirts of town. Its architectural style reminds us a lot of Gaudí’s buildings, such as the Sagrada Familia. Inside we see the only organ in the world made entirely of marble and we enjoy the sound of stone.

The tour ends in a winery in the area, you will have a guided visit of the wine cellar which begins in front of the main facade of the Bodega’s rustic house. Included is a short introduction the history of the wine cellar. Then you do a tasting of the different wines.
